Our Wedding

Layne and Keira first met through their homeschool co-op—Keira in 4th grade and Layne in 5th. Keira took one look at Layne and his dimples fell in love, while Layne on the other hand didn’t know Keira existed. Over the years, they crossed paths at family gatherings but didn’t truly connect until the summer of Keira’s freshman year and Layne’s sophomore year.  That summer, they both joined their church’s youth band—Keira as a singer and Layne on the drums. Every Wednesday night they played together, but there was one challenge: Keira couldn’t drive. That meant Layne started picking her up from work each week and driving her to church. At first, the rides were quiet and a little awkward—Layne even kept the music off so they’d have no choice but to talk. Slowly, those silent drives turned into easy conversations, laughter, and the beginning of something special.  On August 25th, 2022 Layne asked Keira to be his girlfriend—and she said yes. Three years later, she said yes again, this time to a far more exciting question: “Will you marry me?”  Looking back, we see how much God has blessed us and taught us through these past three years. We’re beyond grateful and elated to start this next chapter as husband and wife!

 Sarah is my best friend! We met when we were in 4th grade in theater class. We have had countless dirt bike rides, study sessions, coffee dates, and last but not least our dance videos and baking tutorials! She has the sweetest heart ever, to know sarah is to really love sarah!

 Ali has been by best bud since birth! She’s always been the one to help me out when I don’t quite understand. Her heart to love others shines through always. Ali is truly a gem!

Lyla is my favorite baby sister!! She is so creative and adds a “touch of lyla” to everything she does! Her joyful spirit keeps us laughing. She is such a neat person with so many cool talents!

Journi is my cousin by birth but sister at heart! She is the one who sees my red flags and isn’t afraid to call them out for my benefit! she reminds me what it looks like to live free without care of what people may think! Journi is a beautiful and bold spirit!

I met Haven when she joined my volleyball team our freshman. Haven sees me when no one else does. she is also the most helpful person you will meet! Her heart for others is evident in everything she does!

I met Alee when i was in 6th grade and she was 7th. She had joined the co-op I was in! From there we sang together for our youth band at church. Alee’s passion to show others Jesus love continues to give me chill bumps! She is a driven hard working person on a mission to make Jesus known!
